Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme, France, was born on the 9th of August in 1976. Audrey was the eldest child of four. From a very young age, her dentist doctors parents and teacher mother supported Audrey's love of theatre and drama. This passion which trumped her original desire to be an animal scientist. The rise was swift for her to be a famous young actor. In 1998 after her studies, she was a participant in a French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers that was supported by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors prior to beginning acting professionally. Tautou was a member of the church as well as the Institut Catholique de Paris during her early years, but is now separating herself from these upbringings. Neben her acting, Tautou took up modeling and was the model in the advertising campaign for L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. Apart from her acting work she also has an interest in photography. She recently exhibited some of her photographs at Arles Film Festival. Arles Film Festival, under the name Superficial. Photography of her is primarily focused on the spotlight and celebrities and turns the camera on the media who sat on her shoulders after her meteoric rise to stardom in the film Amelie as well as several self-portraits. Audrey Tautou's debut performance, in the role of Amelie Poulain's lead actress in Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie, landed the actress international fame. Amelie made international waves on the screen and won awards around the globe. It's also the biggest French language film to ever be released on the US. After the film, she appeared in many films that ranged from British dramas and Jean Pierre Jeunet's film Un long Sunday de Faancailles. After that, she shifted to Hollywood and appeared alongside Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
